Moving House

Moving house lets you have a new address.
Moving house is oh so back-breaking.
Moving house is moving all your life in suitcases and more.
Moving house is moving all that you've got, dust and all.
Moving house... u've got to do it alone.
Sighhhhh...

Just like moving to the abode, 6 feet under.
No friends could accompany you there,
Even if they wish to (as if any would?!!!) Ha ha

What a reminder it really is.

What a blessing too.

And still reeling from the exodus
Things, things, bric-a-brac, and dusts
Lot of dusts
And you gain some too..

A breaking, creaking, BACK

Thanks Simah..
The gypsie queen had long sung the song of Amageda, heralding your arrival. Spring is in the air..
hehe
that's what an aching back could do to you.. blurt out the poetic crucify ahh.. kesitu lak
We must try our best to be there..
within this few days we should know.
May you have a safe journey my dear..and your family too
Malaysia, here she comes!!!

AM, thanks a great deal for the words of encouragement. Yes, exciting, but really it could be more ecstatic if all the children are there to sort things out. Unfortunately timing was bad, they are at work, except for Abang and his family, and Eha, and the 2 youngest.
And no marks for guessing, Countess did most of the work. Glory be the household with a Queen, the strength of steel, and the heart of silk.
I am indeed blessed. Very blessed.
Thanks AM

Ailin, I am blessed to have you and family as friend, though far art thou.
Do we see you home like Simah?

If it is October, please make it to my daughter's wedding.. please
Take care you up there. May Allah keep u in the best of iman in the foreign Lapp land.

All the places we've been to, lived at are homes to me. Home is where my children laze about doing very little if at all. Home is where you, Abang, flashed your smile though your heart was reluctant to do the chores Mom nagged you with (for which I am very proud of you son). Home too is where Miao always come to, no matter how dazed he was, after running away from the Vet's care.
This one is no exception.

We fell short of calling you to help.. but decided you had better things to do in Kertih. Should we know that your idling gives you that bad back, we would be glad of help. Please do come help with the wedding.. kecil tapak tangan, stadium larkin kami tadah you

Salam Count
When I move house, I take two weeks off; one week to physically more and the other week to recover from it.
And when I do finally move six feet under, I asked for my family and friends to "accompany" me with the Fatihah and Yasin. I asked for nothing more.

Count Byron said...

Fauziah, you are sharp as razor. 1 week move, 1 week recover. Well done. Wish i had thought of that.
The 6 feet is the abode we all are trooping to, only time is the unknown.
Very sobering indeed.
Thanks FI

count byron, Well presented. Well it is because that we continue to move that our species have progress so much in such a short time in our human history. First from the sea, then to the cave and now we are in cybersphere. What next!!. Let us just wonder and enjoy life as it goes.

Take care. Have a nice day from Boston.

How come you moved house when the one you're staying prior looked mighty fine to me? :))

Anyway may your new abode be a place full of blessings from Allah swt. Take care with that achy breaky back!!

Pak Idrus

In Boston? Having a party (tea) ? Wow.. jauh perjalanan luas pemandangan. Thanks PI

We certainly have progressed indeed.. and if by shifting houses I have progressed, then Alhamdulilah.. dust and all, I'm blessed. To move again? Oh that will come with a number6, boldly embedded.. perhaps :)

Thanks PI for the news from the place where u go to bed the hour I get to the office

DITH

Thank you so much for the prayer. We need lots of that to warm up the home with lots of blessings and love and care.

Yes, the other one was lovely, full of care (and memories of the times my children come home to greet mom and dad with love). Why move.. we just have to. One grandchild added, another menantu in the chart.. and we just have to.

Lama tak dengar DITH.. depa dah balik dari Rusia ke? May you be happy always. Salam to Ikelah and the children.

THE CHILD AND THE SEA
-o0o-

what a lovely sight is the raging sea,
to the child that sleeps within me,
a war of winds and water that is salty,
that brings calm to where draughts was once mighty,

oblivious to the sleeping child in me,
to the sad stories behind a seaman trophies,
as all to him are marks of glory,
to a dead hero who fought with no worries.

Deme my son.

This father is, alhamdulillah, endowed with good health and great dosages of happiness. The children are our treasure and pleasure.
And thank you for "the child and the sea".
What a hero, he who fought with no worries. Death is just a phase. And Life blossoms, beyond.

May you be happy always my son.
